Deep love and immortality as evidenced by the stars
The opening chapter of "Black Sky" reads: "This black cedar forest has been lingering for many days. The needles are withered and hanging down in despair, but miraculously it does not emit the sour and bitter smell of rotten wood." In one sentence, the reader is dragged into the interstellar world of 5711 in the new Gregorian calendar. Under the grand framework of science fiction, there is a deep love that can penetrate time.
When Chus, who was in Office No. 5 Of the Security Building, received the message from the space prison, he would never have thought that it was Sae Yang's confession across the cage. The man who was sentenced to live as long as the planet opened the prelude to the entanglement between the two with the words "Dear, I'm looking at you." Sae Yang's life is a legend: he ran away with explosives at the age of 5, became the best trainee in the training camp a year after meeting Chus at the age of 15, opened an interstellar army for his lover, and fought against fate with the ability to trace back time - he was the finished product of the "devil's plan", but he used all the privileges of "immortality" to go to Chus.
Chu Si's calmness is a shell, with concern for Sae Yang hidden inside. From tit-for-tat to fighting the cosmic conspiracy side by side, the relationship between the two precipitated during the interstellar adventure. The most tearful thing is that Sae Yang goes back in time again and again: every restart is accompanied by severe pain, and every attempt may be in vain, but he never stops. When he finally stood in front of Chusi and said with a smile, "Dear sir, I escaped from prison," the grievances of a thousand retrospections and the ecstasy of reunion were all condensed in these words, which instantly touched the softest part of people's hearts.
The friendship between the older generation in the book is equally touching. The sisterly relationship between Elena and Esther and the classmate friendship with Jiang Qi are not much written, but they are as important as the stars. They had fought side by side to protect interstellar peace, and their unspoken concerns and sacrifices for their beliefs had added warmth to the cold interstellar space. Elena's departure is not the end, but the continuation of the ideals and friendship of the older generation, reminding readers that the romance of the universe is never more than love.
The closing sentence, "The sun is still clean, the stars are still brilliant, and the world is still moving forward slowly with long-term affection", which gives the story the most gentle conclusion. "Black Sky" is never a simple science fiction beauty. It allows us to see: in the vast universe, how small human beings fight against time with love and illuminate the darkness with affection. This persistence hidden among the stars is the most precious gift for readers.
