For me, the emotional line is very flawed, not as pure love as the food chain next door. I followed this series because I thought the food chain was very well written.
To be honest, Song Bai felt like he was taking the spotlight, as if the people inside and outside the play were shrouded in Lao Bai's "shadow". When I first followed the serialization, I couldn't understand why Song Bai was portrayed like this? Now that I have become wiser, I feel even more incomprehensible, and I really don't deserve such shaping and character development.
To be honest, I have also seen the background board attack, but the background boards written by others can make the sparse plot feel very bonding and pulling. Although this book is also available, it feels like it is missing something. I was not familiar with it in the early stage, and there was quite little interaction in the later stage.
Moreover, there is little interaction between the protagonists, and the supporting characters are even less pitiful. Since the emotional activities of the supporting characters are so focused on writing, can't we write more emotional exchanges between CPs?
First of all, the emotional line of this book is not very complete, and secondly, the plot line is also confusing. It always gives people an ethereal feeling. Compared with the food chain, there is no sense of life and reality.
Anyway, whether it is serialized or a few years later, the author's descriptions give me the feeling that when writing supporting characters like Song Bai, they are very real and inspiring. It has richer emotions than the two protagonists. Maybe this kind of characterization is the author's comfort zone.
The author's charming dead supporting characters always made the ending of the article very tragic in my mind, which had an impact on my perception. The supporting role is not like the supporting role, and the second male lead is not like the second male lead. Even though he is dead, he still looks like he is not dead, and the connection is broken.
Such supporting characters feel like they have applied a layer of undertone to the novel itself that cannot be washed away. I personally feel that it is really unnecessary. . .
