I like to read upgrade streams/group portraits/infrastructure categories, and basically don't read books/sand sculpture-style novels with ratings lower than 8.8. The jj scoring system is indeed quite valuable.
The relationship between the male and female protagonists develops and they can empathize with each other, which makes them very easy to get along with.
