Mainly select completed Lily novels with excellent writing/character design and few flaws (my flaws include the main character having a boyfriend, male good relatives, giving birth to a boy, etc.)
This is the most normal book among the dozens of various indescribable ABOs that I have read. When the core jokes are already quite common, the author uses non-greasy writing, slightly rare characters and relatively normal gender concepts to restore the perception. Recommended for people who can accept the scumbag jokes.
In my personal opinion, the best Lily novel of 2023. Lin Zizhou's delicate writing, soothing story rhythm, and extremely realistic modern background make the seemingly clichéd characters shine with unique brilliance
Personally, I think this is the best work on Eight Glasses of Water a Day. The good writing skills are very suitable for the atmosphere of ancient fantasy themes; the character design of "frail and sick but dark and intelligent" is not very novel. The same is true for the protagonist in "The Sick Beauty Master's Thousand Layers of Routines", but Yun Shuchen is more eloquent, and the protagonist of this work is more cunning in dealing with things, which makes the reading unique.
The gender concept of Asking the West has always been relatively reassuring. The protagonists are all female, and the character settings of some male villains are beyond reproach. It's just that the consistent emphasis on plot and light on emotions will make readers (such as me) who like emotional dramas unable to help but sigh. This is one of the author's works with a more natural emotional line.
Lily's work has a slight light novel style. Between the lines, you will feel that the author must be a two-dimensional person (she really is), but it does not have the strange Japanese flavor of light novels. There are almost no male characters in this heart-warming fantasy-style story worthy of praise and worth watching.
