I don't really like historical novels that are too heavy on the drama style. This kind of refreshing history that accompanies the growth of the protagonist + historical boss pickup is really my favorite!
It's been so long since I've read it that I can't remember many of the plots, but as the son of Cao Cao, the protagonist is probably the one who struggles the most with family ties in so many historical novels like Tian Tian Chun. I feel sorry for you and give you a hug.
