It's a very interesting criminal investigation novel. Although it's a derivative, it can be read as the original novel. It's one of the few criminal investigation novels I like.
It's not the kind of overbearing boss's writing that's very suspended. It can be seen that the author has put a lot of thought into the entertainment industry and corporate structure.
