Should have read this earlier than I did, because I ended up being obsessed with the story. I can't believe this is Nian Zhong's first published story. It's so incredibly well written, and both the characters and the plot are genuinely captivating. I absolutely recommend this story and all of Nian Zhong's stories because they are all so amazing.

This work was definitely a bit darker than Nian Zhong's other works, but I loved the way it developed, and the ending was so pleasant overall.
