He stood outside the hall, looking at the cold back, his fingertips trembling slightly. The master's clothes were blown by the mountain wind, as misty as clouds, but he never looked back at him.
He once thought that as long as he could look at him from afar and listen to his master's words occasionally, that would be enough. But people are greedy, and the closer they get, the more they want more. He longed for the Master's eyes to stay only for him, longed for the hands to brush away the snow on his shoulders, and even longed for the Master to show him a smile.
But Master is always Master, like the moon in the sky, cold and distant. He could only bury this delusion deep in his heart and allow it to take root and sprout, turning into a thorn that pricked his flesh and blood.
So he personally destroyed the world that Master wanted to protect.
