On a breezy spring night, Ying Xin and Asdalen, who were retreating to the countryside, picked up a little girl named Caesar who was a vampire spawn.
Kesa is the daughter of Gul's hunter Gen'delair, now free after a long life of servitude in the dungeons of Khazador. But now, trying to follow the trail of her childhood friend Claire, she has been separated from her father again. With Ying Xin's strong insistence, they took in this poor wandering child.
In this beautiful and inaccessible mountain, Ying Xin and her family settled down in a small farmhouse and started a peaceful pastoral life. Although these people live ordinary farming lives, they actually all have ulterior pasts behind them: Asdalen and Kesar were both tortured vampire slaves of Kazador, and Shadow Heart was once a loyal follower of the dark goddess Shar. Her parents, Anael and Emily, suffered in Shar's shadow for forty years.
Above this small farmhouse like a lighthouse, the dark clouds never dissipate, seemingly always looking for opportunities to swallow up their hard-won happiness. Despite this, Ying Xin's family is working hard to find their own light in the darkness.
Purpose: Healing and redemption
