A modern migrant worker travels through a world of famine, and his family is destroyed at the beginning. He is rescued by a rough Chinese stone hammer. Pan Le relies on his vague memory of agriculture and infrastructure to reclaim wasteland to grow food, dig wells and build houses, and live a shameless life with the stone hammer.
