Meng He, a transmigrator who had returned from gathering material in countless bizarre little worlds, felt he’d been treated unfairly.
The protagonist of his novel insisted his writing was terrible and threatened to die rather than let the protagonist and love interest have a bad ending.
Then, the next second, the System coldly informed him that the little world he’d written had collapsed, filling with supernatural phenomena and strange creatures.
Meng, an author of restricted yet pure-love fiction, didn’t understand and decided to wait and see.
In the new world,
the protagonist, who had been determined to get a bad ending, put on a little skirt and eagerly declared that he was going to make the love interest pay.
He also wanted to disown him as his father.
Meng He: …
So this was why his transmigration into a book had gone off the rails?
Wasn’t this a little absurd?
As if things weren’t bad enough, the System ordered him to flesh out the worldbuilding immediately, or he’d be sent to a real crematorium.
Meng stood firm and said absolutely not. He’d die before going to work.
But no one could predict what fate had in store. Who could have guessed that he’d accidentally end up in the hands of the powerful man who loved stirring up trouble and watching the show in the original story, only to be “misplaced” in a supernatural dungeon?
By then, the System, whom he’d thoroughly offended, was pretending to be dead while waiting to collect his ashes.
Facing a boss sharpening his blades, Meng thought, Welp, looks like this is about to go wrong.
Later, after realizing his place at the very bottom of the food chain, Meng watched the protagonist and love interest bicker up a storm while derivative bugs ran amok, trying to destroy the world.
Meng He: Welp, looks like things really are about to go wrong.
He looked around as the System’s electronic voice mocked him, then made a heartfelt request to the powerful man:
Sir, can I bring my whole family along and inherit your estate?
Looking at Meng He, who seemed bewildered and just about ready to catch on, Jiang replied, “You’re welcome :)”
He’d been waiting for this day for a long time.
“Our meeting and reunion were the inevitable result of fate’s echo.”
The author has made up a mountain of details. This is probably a story about a somewhat hard-luck, somewhat laid-back man who likes watching the action, is good at talking to himself and comforting himself, and sometimes has a rather unusual train of thought, as he saves the protagonists’ love story and a supernatural world overrun by bugs.
Theme: Those who cannot forget will surely hear an echo.
Thank you to heaven, thank you to earth, thank you for your hard work~
