"Sunset Rhapsody" core settings
- Background: "Red Sand", a desert city in the near future, is where the ruins of the old civilization merge with the new order. During the day, it is scorched by the scorching sun, and at night, there is a strange "phantom light". Legend has it that the illusion of light can evoke people's deepest desires and fears.
- Protagonist:
- Shen Ye: The most famous "scavenger" in Red Sand City. He is fierce and taciturn. He has an old injury on his back that spreads from his left shoulder to his waist. It is said to be related to the "big collapse" incident ten years ago. He always looks alone at the sunset in the direction of the ruins, as if he is looking for something.
- Lin Yan: An "outsider" who suddenly appeared in Chisha, wearing a white shirt that was incompatible with the desert, and carrying an old-fashioned voice recorder with him. He claimed to be looking for the missing teacher. He had a gentle demeanor but always showed amazing calmness at critical moments. He seemed to know Chisha's secrets well.
- Core conflict: The "Sand Lord", the leader of Scarlet Sand City, is secretly collecting "relics of the old era", and what Shen Ye is looking for (it may be a relic, or it may be a person) happens to be the target of the Sand Lord. Lin Yan's arrival not only disrupts Shen Ye's plan, but also involves the truth of the collapse ten years ago - it was not a natural disaster, but a man-made "cleansing".
