Cleo accidentally got lost with her crew, but she met a strange man in the restaurant. He fell asleep while eating. Out of sheer unbearability and the fact that she couldn't find the crew, she followed the man.
Only when they arrived on his ship did they find out that he was Ace "Fire Fist", the son of the Four Emperors Whitebeard. She was so frightened that she wanted to run away overnight, but was caught by Ace who went to the kitchen to steal food at night. The first escape plan failed.
Cleo was thinking about how to escape every day. By the time her crew finally followed the life card, she had already staged n escape plans, but all of them failed.
