"Jianghu Jianghu" tells the story of scholar Su Yanzhi inheriting the unfinished "Jianghu Chronicles" of his master (swordsman Shen Jiu) and his wife in a ruined temple, and recording the real Jianghu with pen and ink.
At first, Su Yanzhi adhered to the traditional Jianghu narrative. After his master practiced the true meaning of "Jianghu is hidden in the stories of ordinary people" with his life, he wrote "The Broken Temple", starting with real fragments such as the old monk's scar and the lame beggar's half piece of cake, gradually awakening the courage hidden in people's hearts.
During this period, he was persecuted because his book touched on the old evil deeds of powerful people. He was thrown into a dry well but still insisted on writing on the wall of the well. The accountant, the brothel girl and other ordinary people spontaneously copied the book and passed it on, making "The Story of the Well" spread throughout Chang'an. In the end, "Chronicles of Jianghu" gathered everyone's stories into a volume, which not only promoted the redress of unjust cases, but also confirmed that "the real Jianghu lies in the pen of every ordinary person" - they may not dare to lift a knife, but they dare to write down their own thoughts and become legends in the world.
