The chirping of cicadas in midsummer hides unspoken love. Side by side in the library, cheers on the basketball court, and walking together at night after evening self-study, the love between the two teenagers grows wildly on campus. From tentative touches, evasive glances to determined hearts, love quietly precipitates and becomes stronger in countless moments.
But this pure love has become a thorn in the eyes of others. A supporting character's careful calculation weaves a dense web of lies, tearing apart trust and pulling the future lives that are about to meet in two directions. In the rain during the graduation season, they turned around and walked into their own lives with misunderstandings and unwillingness.
Five years passed by, the gears of fate turned again, and the two met unexpectedly in the crowded crowd. The moment their eyes met, the throbbing and pain of the past surged together. Those buried truths and longings that had not dissipated finally had a chance to see the light of day again.
When all the pretense was peeled off and the knots in their hearts were resolved in honesty, they realized that they had never truly let go of each other. This time, they were no longer swayed by rumors, holding each other's hands tightly and making up for the five-year gap with a belated hug. In the final chapter of the story, there are no vigorous vows, only the determination to stay together for a lifetime - the missed time will be filled with tenderness, and the people who love each other will eventually walk side by side into the long years to come.
