My name is Xiaohuo.
I was the first fire the world had ever seen—the kind of fire worthy of the beginning of an epic poem. Before that, I had been locked in the iron box of Olympus for thousands of years, doing nothing and just wasting away.
Then someone stole me away.
He said his name was Prometheus and that he was going to take me to humans. I didn't quite trust him at the time - why should anyone be reassured by a guy with thunder rolling behind his back and lightning chasing his scalp?
But I went with him anyway.
What happened next was much more complicated than I expected. I met human beings, the strange woman with gifts from the gods, the rude man who was always slow but inexplicably lovable, and watched with my own eyes a storm that originally only belonged to the divine world, spreading into the mortal world bit by bit.
You may have heard the official version of this story. But what I'm talking about is the version I experienced personally.
Concept: Imperfect freedom is better than perfect prison.
