Emperor Zhaohe married his wife, the eldest grandson of the Xie family, the tyrant of the previous dynasty. Her name was Fuyi and her courtesy name was Xingzhi. She died in the first year of Yan'an on the fifteenth day of the first month. The emperor was greatly saddened. He retired from court for half a month and was posthumously named emperor. He was given the posthumous title of Changkang Shunhe Shouji of Yan'an. He was buried with imperial rites and entered the Jinhuang Mausoleum.
Emperor Zhaohe was buried together and sealed in the mausoleum for a hundred years.
