Wedge, Snow Burial Edict
In the winter of the nineteenth year of Yongding, the twelfth lunar month was not yet over, and it had snowed in the capital for three consecutive days.
When the bronze bell of the Suzaku Tower struck the twelfth time in the snowy curtain, a secret edict was sent from the royal study, but it was intercepted silently after half a stick of incense. The person who intercepted the imperial edict bribed the eunuch who sent the imperial edict with only one copper coin, stuffed the roll of yellow silk into his sleeve, turned around and stepped into the wind and snow.
That night, the lights in three places in the imperial city stayed on all night long——
One place is the imperial prison, where the beheaded wine is just warm and the blood is not yet cold;
One is the embroidery workshop, where gold thread is passed through plain silk, and half of the imperial city's defense map is embroidered;
The last place is the small boat outside Yongding Gate. In the boat, two people sit opposite each other, with a green lantern, two cups of cold wine, and a contract.
The snow fell harder and harder, burying the horse's hoof prints, blood stains, and lamp shadows. No one knows that after the snow stops, the capital will change its flag and the mountains and rivers will change course.
No one even knew that the intercepted edict contained only eight words:
"Those who wear bridles together can bring peace to the world."
