Core setting: Chen Mo (the heroine), an ordinary social worker with a huge student loan and struggling to survive in the "life-and-death" advertising world, but dreams of opening an independent bookstore ("Sea of Stars"), accidentally rents the attic of an old bookstore full of quirks. The landlord of the attic is Lin Xingye (the male protagonist), a young "reclusive" rich man who inherited this old bungalow and what looks like an antique bookstore, but in fact quietly controls a huge science and technology venture capital fund. His ideal is to transform the bookstore into a real intellectual and cultural salon ("snail shell"), but he has no time to take care of it and can't find anyone who agrees with his philosophy. The two began as "Party A and Party B" (landlord and tenant) who were forced to live under the same roof, and began a wonderful story about the collision of survival, dreams and reality.
