From spots of light on high school basketball courts, to cracks in college observatories, to parallel trajectories across hemispheres, some star paths are destined to cross only once. The sweetness of orange soda, the coolness of mints, the silence under the aurora, the notes in old books... All the unsaid words eventually became footnotes in the universe.
Concept: "Broken Moon" uses the miss between Ling Yue and Xie Huaishen as an incision to explore the weight of "timing" in youth - some heartbeats start at the right moment, but ultimately lose to the involuntary growth and time difference. The story uses images such as star trails, seasons, old objects, etc. To show the fragility of young people's minds under the edges of reality, and ultimately points to the relief that "not all encounters can be successful": those unspoken words and unfinished roads will turn into hidden starlight in life, proving that there was such a time when the universe was watching tenderly.
