In the late Northern Song Dynasty, a fifteen-year-old orphan, who made a living by blacksmithing, got involved in a dispute between Jianghu and Jianghu because of a mysterious broken sword. After experiencing a series of events, he embarked on a search for his life. He traveled around Jianghu and learned martial arts, acted chivalrously and righteously, won the favor of beautiful women, and finally became famous and retired to the mountains.
