The story begins on a sunny afternoon in the library. The strawberry candy wrapper with a special date printed on it in Qin Xing's hand revealed his long-hidden protection of Gu Qiuwan - that was the day when Gu Qiuwan was besieged by gangsters. He silently rescued the siege but denied it. Many years later, during the leakage scandal at the design institute, Qin Xing secretly cleared Gu Qiuwan's grievances and even took the responsibility, but still concealed his sincerity with indifference. Due to the trauma of the girl next door jumping off a building in high school and severe anxiety disorder, Qin Xing has always lived in the fear that "he will drag others down", hiding his love in lost homework, magnolia specimens, moonlight pendants and unsent confession letters. It wasn't until Gu Qiuwan discovered the "moonlight box" full of secrets on the top floor that the past forbearance, misunderstanding and affection finally came to light. In the end, the two faced Qin Xing's trauma and inner fear, and untied all the knots in their hearts under the moonlight, allowing the "moonlight" (love) that had not been broken for many years to finally illuminate each other.
Purpose: To explore the power of love and redemption - trauma can make people wrap themselves in armor, but it cannot stop the protection of instinct; true love is not about escaping, but about daring to face the scars, allowing two "hearts that will hurt" to support each other, and turn the forbearing moonlight into warmth that illuminates each other. At the same time, it also conveys the courage to "face the heart": the weight of secret love and the shackles of self-loathing will eventually turn into marks of growth in the two-way understanding.
