Shangguan Jing, a top forensic doctor known as the "Corpse Whisperer", was involved in the center of the storm due to a series of bizarre disappearances that subverted common sense. Without exception, the victims disappeared out of thin air in the reflection of the mirror when the clock struck twelve o'clock at midnight. The scene was as clean as if it had been wiped thoroughly, with not even the tiniest biological traces remaining. The police were at their wits' end and had no choice but to turn to this talented forensic doctor who could dig out the truth from silent corpses.
However, when Shangguan Jing began to analyze the only clues - the anonymous letter received by the victim before his disappearance, the cold prophecy "When your reflection betrays you, the truth will emerge" - the strangeness began to spread on him. The "Shangguan Mirror" in the mirror is no longer his faithful shadow. What is reflected in the mirror is not only the true face of the murderer, but also the shadow that Shangguan Jing himself does not want to face deep in his heart. When the reflection completely "betrays" its owner, the blind spot of physics is revealed, and the blind spot of human nature becomes a more deadly abyss. Shangguan Jing must solve this fatal killing situation created by using visual psychology and space geometry, and at the same time fight against the inner demons in his own mirror in order to stop the next victim and bring the cold corpse hidden under everyone's eyes back to the light of reality.
