In a world of increasing entropy, everything will eventually return to chaos and disintegration.
"Counter-Entropy" uses urban renewal, structural restoration and construction sites as the real background to unfold a philosophical inquiry about order, memory and the glimmer of human beings. Lin Wang, a structural engineer, believes that precise calculations can resist collapse; Su Yun, a philosophy lecturer, believes that the light of order can still be found in chaos; Shen Zhiheng tests the temperature of the urban texture between ruins and ideals; and the young Lu Zhen stubbornly wants to retain the human atmosphere that is "not in the design" outside of the cold and hard drawings.
In the gaps between steel bars and concrete, in the dialogue between data and ruins, they encountered invisible cracks again and again. Architecture is not just a house, but it carries the traces of human life; order is not only a rule, but also people's efforts to retain meaning.
In this work, "anti-entropy" is not only a technical issue, but also people's insistence on reality and humanity - even if the world is destined to collapse, there must be someone who can leave a beam of light for human memory.
Intention: In the fate of being desolate, human beings use love and memory to fight against the increase of entropy, and pursue the meaning of hope in the heaviness.
