The Ghost of Food Name
In that moth-eaten ancient book, there is a disturbing legend recorded.
According to legend, there are beings called "name-eating ghosts" who feed on people's names. When a person's name is swallowed by the name-eating ghost, the person will disappear from the world. Not death, but a far more terrible fate - oblivion.
No one knows the origin of the ghost that eats the name. Some people say that they are by-products of the birth of writing, monsters mutated from names abandoned by humans. Some say they are a curse created by some crazy creator to punish humanity.
The first page of the ancient book contains a warning:
"When you find your name starting to disappear, remember these three things:
First, don't try to recall your own name. The harder you try to remember, the faster it disappears.
Second, don't tell anyone your name is disappearing. Because the moment you say it, you will be forgotten by that person.
Third, and most important: never accept someone else's name. Because those names may carry the curse of the previous owner, which will turn you into a more terrifying being than the ghost that eats your name. "
On the last page of the ancient book, there is still a line of blurred small words:
"If you're reading this and find yourself unable to remember your name, then... Sorry, you've been chosen."
