For Zhou Dan, autumn does not exist at all, or in other words, autumn is like being sandwiched between short-sleeved shirts and cotton-padded jackets, being squeezed out and unable to be found.
But that year, Zhou Dan had a rare encounter with autumn.
That was the only year in his memory that autumn appeared, but he could not keep that autumn, so in every subsequent year, he looked forward to the exchange between late summer and early winter. Sometimes he would look forward to the arrival of autumn from the first day of the year, and sometimes he would schedule all his time so full that he only felt disappointed after that time. But it turns out that no matter when he started to miss her or how long he missed her, it didn't matter. The result was that, and the ending was decided. Everything he did had never had any impact. Maybe he was just being sentimental. Even if the loss overwhelmed his head at the end of every year, he was still waiting.
