The story begins in ancient times: when the demon world was raging, the twelve gods in the heaven sealed the demons and died, turning into stars to protect the human world.
A small country at the end of the world, facing the sea on three sides and desert and tundra on the other. Due to the special feng shui, this place was once the place where Yaksha and four other demon generals were sealed. Later, humans settled and culture gradually flourished.
Hundreds of years ago, the seal of the demons was loosened, and the twelve gods reappeared here, turning the small country into a battlefield between gods and demons. In order to protect their homeland, capable people learned techniques and fought side by side with Shikigami, forming the "Serving God Clan", with the eight major families of Mo, Zhuang, Xi, Fa, Luo, Qiu, Li and Lin as the core.
The small country is divided into six cities based on mountains and rivers. The Yaksha seal is in the Shigami Mingshan Mountain in the city where there is a shrine and the "Shigami Lao" built by the Mo family witches, guarded by the three families of Mo, Zhuang and Xi; the seals of the other three demon generals are distributed in an equilateral triangle. Each family set up a stronghold around the sealing area, and due to conflicts of interest there were frequent moves and fights.
When the first-generation shrine maiden summoned the four gods, she bestowed the power of the other eight shikigami on the eight tribesmen. Later, the twelve shikigami were gathered together, with "Tianhou" as the military advisor, "Blue Dragon", "Suzaku", "White Tiger" and "Teng Shen" as the main combat force, and dispatched demons in the "Shikigami Lao".
After a great battle, all shikigami and shrine maidens died except "Tianyi". The demon clan was not reinstated but retreated temporarily, and peace returned to the world.
But the reincarnation has not ended yet, and the story continues on the unknown timeline...
