"A Hundred Years of Yunqi Town" uses a magical touch to describe the fate of seven generations of people named Mo. The first generation of Mo Yan escaped from the world and built a town. The family was entangled by the curse that "began in blood and ended in fog": repeated names, alienated abilities, white birds circling, and snow hiding shadows. From the deaf-mute bird whisperer to the girl who can sense the day of death, from the town guard to the rebel who died at the hands of his loved ones, and finally to the nameless baby who disappeared with the centuries-old fog. Seven generations of people circulated in loneliness, and were eventually annihilated with Yunqi Town. Only the ink mark remained, confirming a fateful closed loop that spanned a hundred years.
