The "Jing Dynasty", an imaginary dynasty, was founded a hundred years ago. On the surface, it worshiped literature and restrained martial arts, and its literary style was flourishing, but in reality, it was hidden and turbulent. In order to check and balance the huge civil servant group, the emperor established a secret service called the "Examination Department", which was composed of guards from poor families. It could directly put people into the "Jingsi Yuan" (Edict Prison) without going through the Ministry of Punishment. The civil servant group is divided into the "Jingyi School" and the "Practical School". The former uses Confucian dogma to suppress dissidents, while the latter advocates reform but has been repeatedly excluded. The three "Shangdu" pavilions (Jixian Pavilion, Zhaowen Pavilion, and History Pavilion) and the Secret Pavilion in the capital contain a large number of classics, but they have become a battlefield for power games - texts have been tampered with, files have been destroyed, and the truth is gradually blurred in the pen and ink.
Purpose: All the truth must come to light
