This work tells the story of Chen Mo, a man struggling between philosophy and reality, obsession and sobriety.
In the past ten years, Chen Mo's changes are clearly visible in the community. Once upon a time, he wore a pressed white shirt and was a much-anticipated genius in the philosophy department. He had profound insights into the thoughts of philosophers such as Hegel and Heidegger, and his eyes were full of enthusiasm for philosophy. But now, he wears a blue tunic with raw edges on the elbows. He often wanders under the camphor trees in the community, pressing cigarette butts into the holly bushes, and is talked about by the real estate boss.
Chen Mo is like a soul trapped by philosophy and obsession with Lin Mo, swaying in the world and reality he constructed. He uses philosophy to interpret everything in life. In the process of observing him, his neighbor "I" also began to think about reality and illusion, and the meaning of existence. This seemingly eccentric man in the community has a past about love, philosophy and regret hidden behind him. His story also gives people around him a different look at life.
Intention: How to apply what you learn in reality instead of being trapped in the theories you have learned.
