"The Burning Road" - This is a burning journey on the ashes of life and death. The frozen emergency doctor and the fire captain, with their own scars and secrets, will either burn each other to death or be reborn in the flames of fate. The truth is scorching, and the future is uncertain. The only way is to tear off the disguise and face the hot core buried deep in the past with flesh and blood.
The cold emergency room and the scorching fire scene are two completely different battlefields of life and death. Cheng Yan and Zhou Ye, one was suturing his life in the blood, and the other was snatching his life in the flames. The intersection of a rescue mission allowed Cheng Yan to take out half a fragment of a firefighting badge belonging to Zhou Ye's team from the injured man's chest. It also imprinted Zhou Ye's past words of "living is earning" on Cheng Yan's dusty memory.
The gears of fate began to mesh. Cheng Yan's lost platinum ring appeared strangely deep in Zhou Ye's cabinet; the vague brand on the inside of Zhou Ye's left arm seemed familiar; and a bowl of "codonopsis chicken soup" with a deadly medicinal aroma accurately detonated Cheng Yan's deepest trauma. The desperate fight in the depths of the warehouse was a test, a confrontation, and it was the first rough contact between two souls burned by their own hells and each other's hidden wounds in severe pain.
They are like ice and fire, incompatible but fatally attractive. Underneath Cheng Yan's calmness and restraint are surging pain and unknown skills; under Zhou Ye's cynicism is a heavy sense of guilt and paranoid protection. Around that ring, that slogan, that car accident, that sacrifice, a mystery spanning two worlds gradually emerged. Are Zhu Zhu's sacrifice and Cheng Yan's mother's tragic death connected by an invisible thread? Is the ring in Zhou Ye's cabinet a coincidence or a conspiracy? Is his deliberate approach atonement or revenge?
Intention: Above the burning ashes of fate, only by tearing apart each other's scarred souls can we find the glimmer of redemption.
