Gabriel Camus' life plan was originally simple:
1. Be a handsome Auror
2. Travel around the world with Newt to find magical animals
3. Never have anything to do with Defense Against the Dark Arts
Until one day, Dumbledore smiled and nailed his resume to the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher list.
Now, his daily life has become:
? Successfully turned the Boggart into a rubber duck (Student: "Professor, can this really protect against dark magic?")
? The lesson plan was chewed up by the Bowtruckle until only the title page was left (Newt: "It just likes the smell of your... Parchment.")
? Being ridiculed by Peeves by hanging a banner in the auditorium ("On the Similarity between the Professor and the Duck")
? Received a "thoughtful" small gift from student Tom Riddle (pressed dried anemone + 3,000-word teaching improvement plan)
And that "model student" Tom always appears at the right time——
"Professor, do you need me to help you demonstrate the spell?" (Smile)
(Camus did not see the flash of black light from the tip of his wand.)
What's worse is that Newt is still sending "gifts" continuously:
"Enclosed is the poisonous horned beast's favorite mushroom - please don't open it in the classroom! P. S. Tom, that kid doesn't look right at you?"

Food Guide
Easily heal + undercurrent surging teacher-student line
Clumsy professor × genius student (two-way domestication?)
Attention: Fantastic Beasts!
(Small print on the title page: This story has nothing to do with the Ministry of Magic syllabus, and the final right of interpretation belongs to Peeves.)
Concept: Hogwarts Defense Against the Dark Arts class, but the professor is picking up ducks every day
