The extra story of "The Ordinary World" is based on the classic characters from Lu Yao's original work, continuing the fireworks life on the northern Shaanxi Plateau, focusing on the thrills and tenderness of three couples, Sun Shaoping and Tian Xiaoxia, Li Xiangqian and Tian Runye, Tian Runsheng and Hao Hongmei, at the moment of childbirth. Xiaoxia endured the pain of childbirth on the green train, and Shaoping went from ignorance to bursting into responsibility; dragging her disabled body forward to deliver Runye's emergency delivery at home, using the steady hands of a mechanic to cut the path of life; Hongmei's second child was born urgently, and Runsheng caught the new life with his bare hands on the dirt road howling in the cold wind. There is no grand narrative in these stories, only the companionship on the edge of life and death and the soft light bursting out from the rough life, showing the tenacity and love of ordinary people in the face of unpredictable fate.
