At the beginning of his senior year of high school, Lin Wang, a quiet and reserved transfer student, was assigned to sit at the same table as school bully Wei Linfeng. Wei Linfeng had a bunch of blue-grey hair, slept in class, and fought after class, but the blank spaces in his textbook were filled with intricate mechanical gears. Lin Wang was used to writing poems with his head down, but in a math class he discovered that Wei Linfeng could see through the deviations in his problem-solving thinking at a glance.
