My name is Beatrice, from the Blanchere family.
The fire in the sky and the coldness of the underground palace were like a world apart. I held the edge of the coffin and prayed in the blood and ashes. The palm prints and the coffin merged into one. I summoned Him—Lun, the remnant of the chaotic world thousands of years ago, and the guardian sleeping in my blood.
The royal capital of Baierri was once my home: the divination shop of the witch Leia was filled with the fragrance of herbs, the prayers of the missionary Ferrol warmed the cold night, and Lun's wings once shielded me from the wind and snow. But the sound of gunfire crushed everything. Home, lovers, and close friends were all reduced to nothing in the smoke.
Lun broke his wings for me and fell into the mortal world forever; Ferrol chose to say goodbye when his faith collapsed; Thibo's blood dyed the hills red; and Leia and I were separated in the chaos, and we were separated for half a century.
I waited in the old shop in the royal capital for forty years, growing from a young girl to an old woman. It wasn't until Lun returned briefly and left that I started writing about this half-life on the edge of madness and sanity.
A free and cheerful European girl from a poor family (Beatrice), a genderless iceberg alien angel (Ren White), an eccentric medicine man named Miss Black Magic (Lia), and a crazy and world-weary ascetic monk (Firol).
Beatrice and Ferrol had a relationship, and the rest of the story has no official references.
[Thunder Point Warning]: ① There are past entanglements in the emotional lines between men and women; ② The main characters contain genderless roles, and some characters are fantasy race settings; ③ There is lightness, and the bond between the two heroines is ambiguous and restrained, but there is no clear love and no sweet cake; ④ The overall story may be literary and artistic. Those who mind can leave~
