16-year-old Chang Shu received news that he was going to study in a top high school in the provincial capital. With the expectations of the whole village and the worries of his parents, he embarked on the journey alone.
"Mom and Dad, I will take you out of the mountains."
High school life is rich and colorful. Chang Shu meets Ji Lanhe, who is also 16 years old. They are from two different worlds. Chang Shu never thought of having any intersection with Ji Lanhe, but fate prompts the two to keep meeting each other. As they get along day after day, the two gradually fall in love with each other. After graduating from college, Ji Lanhe went abroad to study, while Chang Shu chose to stay in China for further study. Many years later, the two met again, and their longing for each other never diminished.
