In Mingtan City, a border city where drugs are rampant, anti-drug brigade captain Ye Mingyang and undercover policeman Lin Yunzhe are like two unsheathed swords, stabbing at the "Dark Night" drug cartel that has been entrenched for many years.
When they met for the first time in the drug dealer's lair, Ye Mingyang aimed his gun at Lin Yunzhe's forehead. At that moment, he looked into those eyes that seemed cold but concealed fire, and his intuition told him: this wanted "drug lord's right-hand man" was by no means as simple as he appeared.
"Shoot, Captain Ye." Lin Yunzhe had a sarcastic smile on his lips, but his fingers typed out the Morse code at his side - [Oneself].
From then on, the two sharp blades of light and darkness began a dangerous pas de deux. Ye Mingyang struck out in the light, while Lin Yunzhe delivered information in the shadows. Every action is like walking on the edge of a knife, and every look at each other is worth a thousand words.
"Next time we meet, I might have to shoot you." On a rainy night, Lin Yunzhe wiped off the scar makeup on his face pretending to be a drug dealer, and stuffed a bullet casing into the palm of Ye Mingyang's hand, "Keep it until I come back."
When the leader of "Dark Night" finally discovered that there was a police "ghost" hiding around him, Lin Yunzhe suffered three days and nights of torture. When Ye Mingyang led the team into the warehouse, he only saw the human figure in the pool of blood showing him a last smile.
"Plan... Continue..." Lin Yunzhe's blood-stained fingers drew the last information coordinate on Ye Mingyang's palm, and his pupils gradually dilated.
The final battle broke out in an abandoned chemical plant. Ye Mingyang held Lin Yunzhe's increasingly cold body and aimed at the head of the "Dark Night" leader. At the moment of the gunshot, the morning sun pierced the dark clouds and illuminated two bloody daggers that were against each other - the weapons they used to test each other when they first met.
At dawn, Ye Mingyang stood alone in front of the Monument to the Anti-Drug Heroes and placed the bullet casing next to the newly engraved name. The inscription reflects the morning light: "Lin Yunzhe, 1990-2023, the eternal blade of light."
And in the pocket of his police uniform, there lay a piece of paper soaked in blood, which contained a confession that Lin Yunzhe had never said: "If there is tomorrow, I want to walk in the sunshine with you."
Intention: Want to try
