The two knew each other when they were young because their parents were close friends, but they lived in different places. That year Jiang Xingyi's uncle died unexpectedly, and Jiang Xingyi returned to Yunyi with his mother. After three or four years of companionship, they became important friends in each other's childhood. Jiang Xingyi left Yunyi with his mother when he was about to enter middle school. During those years, the epidemic and dislocation caused the two to drift apart. They reunited in high school and became an indispensable presence in each other's youth.
