"Pure White" is out in July Zhou Ye & Lin Bai
Before the snow falls
In the humid twilight of a small southern town, sixteen-year-old Zhou Ye met fifteen-year-old Lin Bai.
She huddled in the corner of the back room of the hair salon, with a "Xinhua Dictionary" spread out on her lap. The moonlight filtered in through the iron window, casting a small, clean shadow on the word "AI".
Rusted Youth
The iron door of the cold storage was rusty, like their corroded childhood.
Zhou Ye used the stolen money to buy Lin Bai's "freedom", but he didn't know that this freedom had already been marked with a price. Between the dictionary and the cold storage shipping list, in the confrontation between snow and rust, two teenagers clumsily built a single-plank bridge leading to the light.
[Poetry written in blood]
There is rust hidden under Lin Bai's fingernails,
There were scars on Zhou Ye's palms.
When the truth comes with the winter snow,
Only then did they understand:
Pure white is the most luxurious color in the world.
When the snow falls on the rusty oil pipeline, I realize that purity and decay can coexist so dazzlingly.
Purpose: Persisting in humanity in a battle destined to fail is itself the ultimate form of pure whiteness.
