Abstract: Second Gender Differentiation (SGD), as an important human biological phenomenon that appeared before the New Era, has completely reconstructed the physiological characteristics and social relationships between the sexes. Based on literature over the years and the latest research progress, this article systematically reviews the discovery process, pathophysiological basis, population distribution characteristics and social changes caused by SGD. Studies have shown that SGD involves the expression of atavistic differentiation cell reactivation genes (RGRT), leading to three types of phenotypic differentiation: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Its neuroendocrine regulatory mechanism (such as pheromone-mediated labeling behavior) and reproductive function reorganization have had a profound impact on human social systems.
