——That old house with the lights that refused to go out, hides four names that have been missed by time.
This is a fragmented novel about friendship, growth and memory.
The story takes place in an old house in a small southern town, where the pasts of four teenagers are intertwined under the same lamp.
Time changes, some people leave and some forget, but the lights in that room never really turn off.
"As long as someone remembers, that door will still be open."
Together they stole cans, repaired radios, were chased by urban management on their bikes, had fevers that made them talk nonsense, and they grew up together.
Time pushed them in different directions, some left, some stayed, and some are still changing the bulbs of that lamp.
But as long as the lights in that room stay on,
They still remember——
"We've loved each other, hated each other, been there for each other, and kept each other warm."
This book is presented in a puzzle-like narrative, and scattered memory fragments will slowly piece together a complete answer.
There are smiles, tears, unspoken love and waiting - maybe no one really says love, but every time they accompany you, they say:
"I'm still here."
Intention: Even if time tears us apart, love and memory will still leave behind the lights and others. Every name that is not called is an echo from another world.
