Qi Miao, a taciturn schizophrenic patient, was pushed into the third-floor ward of Hengtai Mental Hospital by fate.
Here, she met Fu Jiaoyang in a purple sleeping jacket - a girl who secretly hides her white hair, a girl who reads English in Liling dialect, and a troublesome guy who always wants to teach her to dance.
In the corridor filled with disinfectant water, in front of the iron-barred window, two lonely hearts gradually came closer. They shared sentences from the Book of Songs, secretly hid Dr. Xu's snacks, and dreamed of freedom through the glass during the rapeseed season.
When Fu Jiaoyang's kiss fell on Qi Miao's cheek, when the white hair tied into a bow mysteriously disappeared, and when the discharge bell rang on Qingming Festival, the two girls had to make a choice in front of the iron gate of reality.
This work depicts the love that is not understood by the world in a mental hospital with delicate brushstrokes, and records the warm moments of two souls redeeming each other in troubled times.
Ps:
This novel is adapted from real events. Qi Miao (pseudonym) is a girl I met in a mental hospital. The three short months I spent with her were the happiest three months I have had in more than 20 years. When we first met, I thought she was a boy and kissed her. Then I didn't dare to go play with her for more than a month. Later she moved to my ward, and we memorized the Book of Songs together, walked together, sang together, and practiced calligraphy together. When she learned that she had a crush on a boy, Li Sheng, she felt jealous in her heart. In the hospital, I often asked for hugs and kisses, but she always refused with a smile. She was not disgusted with me, but when I confessed to her, she refused because I was a girl. After I get out of the hospital, I want to write our story into a novel. Hence this article. (I often kissed her secretly in the hospital)
This novel is divided into two volumes:
Young love: a story from her perspective, the story of high school and college, the story of her and Li Sheng
Mental Hospital Diary: My and Her Story Written from Her Perspective
Intention: Love that is not understood by the world
