When Ah Hui was hunting birds, he knocked over dried chili peppers and choked, and was laughed at by the birds; when he was stealing fish, he was stopped by the little magpie, but he was unexpectedly given bread, and learned that his action of helping Grandma Wang drive away mice was remembered by the little magpie. On a rainy night, Ah Hui saved the little magpie who was swept away by the strong wind regardless of danger, and the relationship between the two broke through. When the migration season comes, the little magpie leaves a golden sycamore leaf with paw prints engraved on it and promises to bring sugar osmanthus back next spring, while Ah Hui promises to protect Grandma Wang's fish. The story depicts the warm transformation from hostility to trust between a stray cat and a little magpie with delicate brush strokes.
