"Mortal Song" is an urban emotional drama produced by CCTV, Noon Sunshine, and iQiyi, directed by Jian Chuanzhen, written by Ji Jingrong, produced by Hou Hongliang, starring Yin Tao and Wang Xiao, and starring Zhang Ruonan, Qin Junjie, Zhang Zhehua, and Chen Haoyu. It will be broadcast simultaneously on CCTV-8 Prime, iQiyi, and Tencent Video on August 31, 2024. The play is adapted from the novel "I'm Not a Loser" written by Ji Jingrong. It revolves around three couples living in Beijing. It tells the story of urban strivers of different ages facing pressures and difficulties such as job hunting, resignation, and promotion. While protecting family, friendship and love, they face their hearts, complete self-examination, and finally overcome the crisis and find a new direction in life.
