In the fast-paced modern city, Lin Xia is an ordinary illustrator, accustomed to recording the fine details of life with a brush. By chance, she discovered that there would always be a letter without the name of the sender in the mailbox of her old apartment. The neat handwriting in the letter was full of tender observations about the corners of the city, as well as the delicate thoughts hidden between the lines.
The sender of the letter, Lu Chuan, is an independent photographer who travels through the city. He captures the fireworks in the world with his lens, but seals his inner emotions under layers of disguise. During the filming process, he accidentally discovered Lin Xia's mailbox and started writing letters to express his feelings.
In this way, the mailbox became a secret communication space for the two of them. They shared the sunset glow at dusk and the streets in the early morning in their letters, and gradually entered each other's inner world during the collision of words. When the fog of reality gradually dissipates, those souls who have never met but have known each other for a long time finally meet under the starlight, and a pure love story woven by words begins.
Purpose: In a modern society where instant messaging is rampant and people are impetuous, letters are used as a carrier to demonstrate emotional communication without secular considerations.
