Introduction to the work
This is a story about growth, redemption, and struggling with the edge of darkness. The protagonist Li Yu was born in a privileged family, but due to inner loneliness and emptiness, he fell into confusion in adolescence. By chance, he met Xu Zewen, an uncle with a complicated life experience and rebellious behavior. The two seemingly different worlds are intertwined by fate.
Li Yu's life was originally monotonous and boring. He pretended to be himself in order to meet the expectations of the outside world, but in his contact with his uncle, he felt a freedom and authenticity that he had never experienced before. However, the uncle's world is full of shadows - drugs, violence and endless pain. After being involved in this whirlpool, Li Yu experienced hallucinations, fear and despair, and was almost lost in the dark abyss.
At the most dangerous moment, his uncle's protection and companionship became Li Yu's only support. The two relied on each other in difficult situations and experienced the test of life and death. This experience not only made Li Yu re-examine himself, but also gave him a deeper understanding of his uncle. From camouflage in the sun to struggle in the darkness, to each other's redemption, their stories have left a profound mark on their growth.
