This is a story about recovery and self-redemption. Qi Xun, who was once proud and willful, suffered a bloody head injury in a strange city after pushing away Chen Sheng's embrace. When he was huddled in the corridor of his former "home" in embarrassment, the man he had hurt started to reheat his frozen heart with a steaming bowl of instant noodles. In the days after getting back together, Qi Xun lost his sharpness and was willing to be the "lost dog" around Chen Sheng. In the midst of humble repentance and dependence, he learned how to love again.
Purpose: Through the composite story of Qi Xun and Chen Sheng, the work explores the imbalance of pride and humility in intimate relationships, the price behind choices, and how the two parties re-recognize each other in reality after injury and repentance, explore the possibility of love and self-redemption in humility and dependence, and reveal the deep concepts of forgiveness, growth and two-way emotional redemption behind the reunion.
