By an accident, my mortal enemy Pei Jin and I shared the same heart rate. When he was strategizing in the conference room, my heart would tremble violently; when I was listening to emo music late at night, he would suddenly cover his chest and his eyes would turn red. As the captain of the e-sports team, Pei Jin, the owner of the club, and I have always been incompatible. I think he is authoritarian and overbearing, and he thinks I am thorny and untamable. We even quarrel with each other when we meet in the elevator. But now, our heartbeats have become a bond - his heartbeat was disordered when he was drunk, and I was forced to rush to the bar to find someone; I was so nervous during the game that I was suffocating, but he actually sent me a tactical analysis for the first time. When sharing heartbeats becomes a habit, the undercurrents hidden under tit-for-tat begin to surge. The painkillers I found in his suit pocket, the light that was left on in his office late at night, and his red eyes every time I was injured... It turned out that this accident was a carefully planned game of fate.
The countdown to heartbeat resonance has begun. Who will surrender to this heartbeat first before revealing each other's hidden secrets? Should we continue to be tit-for-tat rivals, or should we seize this rare bond and turn our heartbeats into resonance for the rest of our lives?
Concept: The work is inspired by the fantasy setting of "eternal enemies sharing a heartbeat" to break down the barriers built by prejudice among people and show the misunderstood kindness and affection under the appearance of opposition. Through the resonance of the heartbeat frequency, it is a metaphor for the emotional connection between people - seemingly irreconcilable conflicts may actually originate from unseen sincerity; and those seemingly accidental bonds may be the opportunity given by fate to break prejudices and get to know each other again, conveying the warm core of "love can resolve opposition, and understanding will eventually reach the true heart".
