I wrote the story into a book. Even though it took too long and the past was blurry, I could always see you standing under the big tree, waving to me, waiting for me to come home from school, and trying so hard to make me happy. There are thousands of you in my mind, but they only stay in memory.
Ever since we were little, everyone has always assumed that we were a couple. When we joked about having our wedding banquet in the future, you always waved your hands and smiled and retorted. I thought you were shy. When faced with adults' jokes, I believe them to be true. I believe that when we grow up, we will naturally be together. I believe that you like me, and I believe that you will stand by my side unconditionally.
Until you hold another girl's hand, I can hear the sound of my heart breaking all over the place, my mind is blank, I can't listen to anyone's words, I just want to go home, to a place without you, but I still want to smile and bless you, and I still want to laugh.
From the age of twelve to twenty, I put all my attention on you, went to the high school you wanted to go to, followed you to a strange city, and studied a major that I was not interested in. My eight years, eight years in your name, but I couldn't help it.
Purpose: self-growth
