The city's sunshine is a bit scorching.
When I was alone across the river in the city, like an isolated island, I suddenly remembered the river in front of my house. I don't know why I always think of it. Every time, a white light suddenly flashes in my mind, and then my memories and even all the pictures in my brain are pulled to that distant place. That river, no matter it is under the scorching sun like now, or in the twilight, if you separate it like a still life, it will always be so quiet, clear, and sparkling.
When I thought of the river, I thought of Baff. When I looked up, his figure was reflected out of place on the glass wall of the office building in front of me, huge and heavy. I hurriedly lowered my head and rubbed my eyes. When I opened them again, he was gone, really gone.
I think maybe the sunshine in this city has really hurt my eyes.
